At Sierra Experts, we’re lucky to have some of the best. This month in our employee spotlight, we’re featuring Noelle Snebold, Creative Designer at Sierra Experts.
Noelle studied at Robert Morris University, where she attained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Graphic Design, minoring in Sport Management. Noelle balanced school with work enthusiastically during that time. She worked various collegiate sporting events, like the Three Rivers Classic (hockey), NCAA Frozen Four (hockey), and North East Conference Softball Tournament. She says that some of her favorite projects came about during her time as a motion graphics intern with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Initially, Noelle faced a tough decision about her choice of major. Speaking on her family’s influence in her decision, Noelle states,
“I considered becoming a teacher. Really, it was my aunt who influenced me the most. She said that I should follow my talent, which is art. I’ve studied art from around five years old, in more traditional mediums like painting. My family means so much to me, and my aunt’s advice cemented my choice.”
As a creative designer at Sierra, Noelle works with the design department to craft company and customer assets. She notes that every day is interesting at Sierra, with a wide variety of projects. Her favorite aspects of her work include illustrating and expanding on her experience with web design. Noelle has already made a huge impact on the company, having taken a large part in redesigning our printed sales materials.
Noelle mentions that her favorite part of working at Sierra is the flexibility and work hours, promoting a healthy work/life balance.
In her off time, Noelle enjoys design and sports, as evidenced by her education and work. Asked about her long-term goals, she mentions that she wants to continue growing in design.
